The Virginia Cavaliers Are In it to Win it.

The Virginia Cavaliers are going to the National Championship for the first time in the athletics program’s history. Here is a recap of the ‘Hoos journey to the National Championship, Virginia was chosen as the #1 seed for the south region on Selection Sunday, triumphant and concerned about the 2017 First Round loss to #16 UMBC, they faced #16 Gardner-Webb and won 71-56, moving on to the second round defeating #9 Oklahoma 63-51, advancing to the Sweet 16 where they faced #12 Oregon and beat them 49-53. They would move up to the Elite 8, where they defeated #3 Purdue 80-75, they would advance to the Final Four for the first time since 1984, where they faced #5 Auburn and beat them in a three point foul after a buzzer beater. The road comes to an end tonight as the Virginia Cavaliers will face the Texas Tech Red Raiders, tonight at 9:00 PM on CBS.
