ALL GAMES, ALL LOSSES, ALL SHOCKING

All games ended in losses for this week, it started on Tuesday, boys and girls volleyball were shutout 0-3 against Warwick, then both Varsity and JV Field Hockey were shutout 0-8, Wednesday, our cross country teams delivered maybe, the only win of this week. And on Thursday, varsity football lost the momentum at home in last night’s game against Bethel, and they lost 14-27. Boys and Girls volleyball were also shutout by Woodside, 0-3 was the final. There are still games this week, the Varsity and JV Field Hockey teams are heading to Powhatan Field at Old Dominion University for their games against Maury and JV football will play at Bethel on Saturday.

 

OTHER ATHLETICS

 

  • Congratulations to the cross country teams on their victories over Heritage & Hampton on Wednesday, they remain undefeated on the season. Matt Novak finished 1st overall (17:39) outsprinting teammate David Baggot at the finish line. Manaya Oldham was the fastest girl with a time of 20:30.
  • The Kecoughtan boys volleyball team was shutout 0-3 against Warwick, on Tuesday
  • The Kecoughtan girls volleyball was shutout 0-3 against Warwick, on Tuesday
  • The Kecoughtan varsity Field Hockey team was shutout 0-8 against Gloucester on Tuesday.
  • The Kecoughtan JV Field Hockey team was shutout 0-8 against Gloucester on Tuesday.
